The purpose of this annual event is two-fold. This event serves as a
fundraiser for equipment, supplies and other needs to supplement the
programs at MoHS. Two recipients of this year's prestigious award goes to
MoHS graduates, Dara Fukuhara, an eloquent advocate for the disabled and
Dr. Alan Serikawa, a role model optometrist for MoHS students. Two more
awards goes out to Raymon and Glorianne Young, one of MoHS's most dedicated
parent volunteers and Stan Tamashiro, a former Music Booster President who
still gives to the band community.
This also acts as an unofficial "all class reunion" and we would
love to have all of you attend. It was great seeing many alumni as
well as some teachers and faculity at the Kina'ole last year. I'm
also happy to say the PTSA will be awarding $300 to the class that
has the most alumni at the Kina'ole dinner. This $300 award can be
used to help with costs of your next class reunion. Last year the class
of 1985 tool home the $300. This year maybe your class can so be sure
to recruit and sign up people for the Kinaole dinner.
